Founder and principal architect
Matt has spent more than a decade designing, building and remediating IT environments, much of it for organizations in housing, property, education and healthcare. The common thread was small technology teams looking after sensitive data. Casey Technologies applies the same method to small and mid-sized businesses in any sector.
His delivery work has covered Azure and hybrid cloud migration, Microsoft 365 and identity security remediation, multi-site network transformation, infrastructure as code with Terraform, and the technology mobilization of new apartment communities. It now includes AI readiness and governance: making an IT environment safe to point an AI at before anything is switched on, and testing each AI use case against its worst failure before it goes live.
He works the way the method describes. Assessment before change, a written baseline before cut-over, and a gate before any AI capability is enabled. Most of what each stage does is established practice, and he says so. The value is in the sequence and in holding the gates when it would be easier not to.

Casey Technologies sells no licenses and takes no reseller margin on any environment it assesses. The assessment scores the environment as it is, and no finding needs to look better than it is.
Written gates
Each stage ends at a written exit gate. In a commercial engagement the gates are in the statement of work, which governs scope.
